You're Invited

We warmly invite all eligible youth and their parents to join us for our Stake Youth Trek Fireside on Sunday, March 22nd at 7:00 PM at the Diamond Valley Stake Center. This is your chance to learn everything you need to know about our upcoming Pioneer Trek experience this summer.

Come ready with your questions! Trek leadership will be on hand to walk you through what to expect, how to prepare, and how this experience will connect you to your pioneer heritage and to the Savior.

What to Expect at the Fireside

  • An overview of Pioneer Trek — what it is, where we're going, and what we'll be doing.

  • Details about the trek route at Deseret Land & Livestock (July 8–11, 2026).

  • Information for Ma's, Pa's, and adult support staff.

  • How to register and what the deadline means for your family.

  • Packing, clothing, and preparation guidance.

  • The family history experience — walking with your ancestors.

  • Time for questions and answers with trek leadership.

Who Should Attend?

This fireside is for all youth who will turn 14 by December 31, 2026, through age 18, as well as their parents and guardians. We strongly encourage families to attend together so everyone can be on the same page as you prepare for this unforgettable experience.

Adult leaders serving as Ma's and Pa's, along with any other adult support staff planning to attend Trek, are also encouraged to be present.

Trek Registration Opens March 22nd

Trek registration opens the same night as the fireside — Sunday, March 22nd. The registration deadline is Sunday, May 1st, 2026. Every participant attending Trek — including Ma's and Pa's, adult support staff, and youth trekkers — is required to register online. Be prepared to sign up right away!
